I’m Haley, the Founder & Coach at Balanced Living Co.

I’m a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) and Fitness Coach passionate about helping everyday people find sustainable food, mood, and movement.

Empowered by Experience: Becoming an NTP

For years, I participated in competitive athletics including Division I collegiate springboard and platform diving. The stress, lack of sleep, and the choices I was making nutritionally (that I thought were healthy at the time) were contributing to what really looked like a slow car crash. I went from a star teen athlete to a young adult trapped in the medical diagnostics rabbit hole trying to figure out why I was dealing with extreme fatigue, severe bloat, nausea, vomiting, and hives. This was on top of multiple orthopedic and head injuries that are far too common in high level athletics…

After many prescriptions and idiopathic diagnosis later, I decided I wanted to know the “WHY” and I wanted to feel normal again.


This motivated me to do a reset and check in with my values, learn where my blind spots were pertaining to nutrition and exercise, and hold myself accountable to continuing my education in these areas using myself as the best experiment.

What is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner?


Trained by the Nutritional Therapy Association Inc., a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) aids clients in dietary changes, lifestyle adjustments and when needed, nutritional supplementation, based on the clients bioindividual needs.

As an NTP I am here to help others learn from evidence based scientific research as well as our ancestral wisdom to become more mindful about how our food makes us feel, where we get it from and its impact on our health at large.
